  1. `MIDI' menu `NEW CAPTURE...' item:

  3.       Use this menu item to CAPTURE a bulk dump from a synth that does
  4.       not have a driver.
  5.  
  6.       First, you will be asked to set the MIDI route and select a buffer
  7.       size.  The MIDI In/Out (Bars&Pipes users), Patch Bay Channel and
  8.       Patch Bay Program Number are the only MIDI route fields applicable
  9.       to Capture files.

  11.       Then you will be presented with a file requester asking you to
  12.       choose a name for the CAPTURE file.  After you select a filename,
  13.       "The PatchMeister" will wait for the sysex data to arrive, so that
  14.       is when you should instruct your synth to send the bulk dump.  The
  15.       sysex data will be written to disk as it is being retrieved, so
  16.       the CAPTURE file already exists by the time its window opens.

  18.       The window opens so that you can attach a comment and searchkey to
  19.       the existing CAPTURE file.  If for some reason you do not want to
  20.       add this information, simply close the window.
